Chawan NS.1 - 350 ml

Handmade, beautifully crafted chawan designed for matcha tea, or can it be used for so-called bowl tea brewing method. It is made of stoneware and fired at high temperatures in a kiln.
 
Outer pine glaze, unglazed inside.

Before the first use: Just rinse your new chawan with clean boiling water a few times. Let it dry completely and then it is ready.
 
Maintenance: Do not use any soap or detergents to clean the chawan! Just use clean hot water to rinse it. Use your hands not a dishwasher. After every use it is essential to let your chawan dry out.
